DROP-OFF AND COLLECTION
At the beginning of the school day, parents are encouraged to drop their children at the classroom door (Reception – Year 2). Key Stage 2 children are dropped at the entrance to the Key Stage 2 building where a member of staff greets the children and can take messages for the class teacher. Collection at the end of the school day is from the class door for Year 2 and below and from the playground meeting points for Key Stage 2 children. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know.
TRAVELLING TO SCHOOL
To get to and from school, walking, cycling or scooting is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. At the end of the school day, we have a walking bus that drops children at the library car park (on request). If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.
